Blue Living Spaces

Happy Monday! My hubby and I spent our weekend relaxing. We went to the Houston Rodeo on Saturday with several friends and saw Brad Paisley. Wonderful show! Of course, my husband had to try the fried moon pie, fried oreos, and fried snickers, all of which he most definitely regretted after riding several rides.

We recently painted our living room a navy blue (pictures coming soon!). I love the color blue for living spaces. It's very calming. Check out these blue living rooms. . .

Blue Kitchen

The kitchen = my favorite room of the house! For this reason, it's decor is so important to me. In these next few pictures, I love the distressed look. Distressed cabinets stay looking fresher longer. They dont show wear and tear, which is a good thing for a well-loved cooking space!

Growing up in Ohio, many summer evenings were spent out on patios with friends. The food was good and the weather was great. In Houston, the summer evenings are too hot to spend outside, so we take advantage of the fall and spring. There's something about being in nature that is so peaceful. These patios and living spaces make the outdoors even more inviting.
